like spending time with family. This is one of the views from my sisters house. Notice how used to the view the kids are that they turn their backs on it and favor colouring in. We were lucky enough to see some whales while visiting in the weekend. We were also lucky enough to have a yummy roast lamb, great considering our oven is not working so I miss our weekly roasts.
like watching my immediate family interact, H reading a bedtime story to our little cherubs and laughter and chaos filling the air.

Awww, those photos made me smile a lot! I was thinking about how they had their back turned on the view too, and how, when we were trying to point out the whales to the kids, EE soon just ran off, saying, "Chase me, J!"

It's hard without a oven...
Mum uses a small portable oven to roast her chicken. Uses less energy. I think it's around $100 new. Seemed to be a handy thing to have around... We fry our potatos in the electric frying pan. It's faster than roast potatos and sometimes nicer.
